我是之前由陳政國醫師幫我做ESD的病人。我目前已經回到西雅圖，這段時間一直很想跟陳醫師說一聲謝謝，所以想透過亞大醫院的感恩平台，把這份感謝寫下來。

I’m the patient with the approximately 4 cm rectal lesion who underwent ESD with Dr. Chen Cheng-Kuo.

I live in the Seattle area now, and I came back to Taiwan for the procedure. To be honest, I was really scared when I first found out that I needed to have the lesion removed. There was a lot of uncertainty, and waiting for the procedure was not easy for me.

From the very beginning, Dr. Chen made me feel reassured. I could tell that he was very experienced and knew exactly what he was doing, but more importantly, I felt that he genuinely cared about me as a patient. That meant so much to me at a time when I was feeling anxious and vulnerable.

Thankfully, everything went well, and when I finally received my pathology results, I felt such an enormous sense of relief. I honestly felt very lucky that Dr. Chen was the doctor taking care of me.

I’ve been back home in the Seattle area for a little while now, but I still think about my experience at Asia University Hospital. I know that an ESD procedure may be part of Dr. Chen’s everyday work, but for me, this was a very big and scary moment in my life. I will always remember how much calmer I felt knowing that I was in his hands.

I’m truly grateful to Dr. Chen. I really appreciate his skill, his care, and the peace of mind he gave me when I needed it most.

Please pass along my heartfelt thanks to Dr. Chen and everyone on his team. I would also really appreciate it if the hospital could recognize Dr. Chen through the hospital’s gratitude platform. He made a difficult experience much easier for me, and I wanted him to know how much that meant to me.
